For my somewhere project I chose to insert myself into Friends the TV show. This is my comfort show that I love to watch when I need a good laugh. Hope you enjoy!

Black and White to Color

Image
This was my original image in black and white. I chose this image because it is one of my favorite days, I went to the Florida Panthers Stanley Cup Final this year. It was so much fun and I will forever be thankful to have had the opportunity to go. These are my 3 colored pictures, I chose to use analogous, triad and complimentary colors.

Poster

This is my poster project! I felt a little stuck on this one but Professor Gutierrez said we could do a band poster if we wish. I chose to do my poster on Red Hot Chili Peppers because they are my favorites and I grew up listening to them. Everytime I hear one of their songs it brings me nostalgia and all of the good feels. I included the album "Californiacation" with the song lineup, this is my favorite album of theirs. I hope you enjoy my poster and give their music a listen!

Letter to my future self Dear future Gracie, I hope you are doing amazing! My favorite things currently are spending time with my friends, meeting new people, and finding out more about myself. My favorite songs are Silver Springs by Fleetwood Mac and Ghost in the Machine by SZA and Phoebe Bridgers. I am currently in Sophomore year of college at University of Tampa, and I am loving it! I’m living in Palm Apartments with Kara and Christi my best friends. I am so thankful for the opportunities that I have been given from this school. I have learned so much from being here and have found out so much about myself. I have to say I miss Mom and all the animals and can’t wait to go home in October for Savannah and AJ’s engagement party. I am writing this for my Digital Media class which is interesting to me. I’m learning how to use Adobe Illustrator which may become a new hobby of mine. I had my Principles of Public Relations class today and we had a guest speaker come in and talk about...

Logo Project

Drawings AI Generated Images Finished Logo! Business Card 3D Primitives The 4 words I used to describe myself were Hart(my last name), joyful, kind and inspired. I chose to include my last name because it has a lot of meaning to me. I feel like its a constant reminder to follow my heart and stay true to myself. But after brainstorming ideas for it I had a hard time thinking of anything besides what I put in my sketches and felt like it looked like it said "hurt" instead of "hart". So, I decided that inspired was my favorite of the others. I feel like the word inspired describes me because in the past I've had difficulty feeling inspired and having lack of motivation. But I've recently gained a new sense of excitement for things and finding what I'm passionate about. Coming to the University of Tampa has opened up a whole new world for me and has shown me that there are so many possibilities for my future which has driven me to do more and expand my hor...

FMX 210 Blog #1

Blog #1 Hello! My name is Gracie Hart, I'm from Stuart, Florida and I am a Sophomore this year at UTampa. When I came to UT I was a Marketing major but over this past summer I decided to change my major to Advertising and Public Relations. I felt this major would allow me to be more creative and take classes that are more interesting to me. I took this class because it is a requirement but I am also very excited to see what else we will learn. My first feelings of this class, Digital Media, is excitement even though we met over zoom for the first day. I found what Professor Gutierrez presented for the first lecture very interesting. I liked how he included the first computer to be made and showed the basics of how binary code worked. It doesn't make much sense to me to be honest but it's fascinating in my opinion. My expectations for this class are to learn more about the digital side of advertising and expand my creativity. I can't wait till our next class!
